Journals: "If you could be any superhero who would it be and why?"
We started reading Shakespeare's tragic play "Othello"
Acts 1 & 2 starting on pg. 282 of your Shakespeare Norton books.
We then took notes off the Smart board focusing on symbolism.
What is symbolism?
Where does it show up in these first two acts?
We then broke into groups and came up with objects of symbolism in the first two acts of Othello.
Homework tonight:
* Finish Act 2 and blog a post on what you like and dislike about the play so far.
